Wolverhampton Music Education Hub was launched in September 2012 in response to the government report A National Plan For Music Education.
Wolverhampton Music Education Hub aims to provide children and young people in the City of Wolverhampton the opportunity to learn an instrument, sing, perform and access high quality musical experiences.
Wolverhampton Music Service is the lead organisation for the hub and, along with its partner organisations, strives to provide a high quality, broad and balanced offer of support for music education to schools and young people across Wolverhampton.
Core elements of the hub’s offer are to provide the opportunity for:
- First Access (Whole Class Ensemble Teaching)
- Progression (small group teaching)
- Ensemble opportunities
We also offer CPD support for teachers in schools, an instrumental loan service through Wolverhampton Music Service and access to high quality musical events through our Curriculum Enrichment Programme and Workshops offer.
We hope you enjoy working with Wolverhampton Music Education Hub, please browse our website for more information and do contact us if you want to know more.
